Stephen Peacock
Hi, Steve here. I am the Director and Project Manager of Cornerstone Homes. I have a National Certificate in Carpentry and as a registered LBP I bring over 24 years’ experience in the construction industry to this company. This is both on the tools and running the sites with more than a few of these homes over the years winning their category or Gold at the Master Builders House of the Year Awards. I am the heart of our team and I am very proud of what we accomplish together. I really enjoy the first face to face meeting with clients and listening to them talk of the dream they desire to build.
Paula Peacock
Hello, I am Paula, Steve’s wife. I am the Office Manager at Cornerstone Homes and your first point of contact. I help in the day to day running of our team and sites. I enjoy getting to know our clients and taking photos throughout the build to document the progress of your dream home. I am always happy to answer any queries you may have. When I am not busy in the office, I am having adventures and making memories with our seven incredible kids, reading a good book or listening to podcasts from Jerry Savelle.
Phil
Hi, my name is Phil. I am a qualified builder with a National Certificate in Carpentry with many years’ experience in the construction industry. I am extremely thorough, and I like to get the job done right first time. You will meet me once it’s time to stand frames and I am responsible for the work onsite and doing any variations you may have. I have worked at Cornerstone Homes for over 3 years and I like working here because it’s a Christian Company and we have an awesome boss who never loses his cool. In addition, he paid to get me qualified and that brought my loyalty. Outside of work I am a volunteer firefighter at the Rural Fire Station in Upper Hutt and due to that I am an advanced first aider.
Jake
Hi, my name is Jake, I was an experienced roofer prior to joining the Cornerstone Homes team so I understood about the building process and the need for quality. I am now doing an apprenticeship with BCITO working towards my Certificate in Carpentry. You will meet me on site once we start framing. My interests outside of work include skating, the odd round of golf and working on small projects with my mates. I like working for Cornerstone Homes because of the people I work with, they are a good group of guys and we have an awesome team culture. We love to have a laugh while we work. I especially like our boss Steve because he’s a good teacher and he treats us with respect as valued members of his team.
Biak
Hi, my name is Biak, but you can call me B. I did a pre trade course at Whitireia before joining the team at Cornerstone Homes and I have now been working here for nearly 3 years. I am currently doing an apprenticeship through BCITO and I am quick to pick up and implement any new skills. You will meet me at the beginning of the build when we start standing frames. I like to keep the site safe and tidy, so it is a safe place to work and for you to be able to visit. My interests outside of work include playing or watching soccer and playing my guitar. I am very happy working for Cornerstone Homes because we have a good boss and even when I make mistakes, he is patient and he is a good work mate.
Dean
Hi, my name is Dean. In my spare time I enjoy working on my cars and attending motorsport events. Before becoming a Cornerstone Homes team member I was working as an IT support technician. I believe Steve is an amazing friend and boss who is supportive and genuinely interested in our learning. We have a fantastic hard working team from various backgrounds that works well together to get the job done.

Dress My Nest is a full service interior design service located on the Kapiti Coast, working with clients throughout the Wellington region and across New Zealand.
Established in 2015 by Vanessa Webb, Dress My Nest has worked on hundreds of projects throughout New Zealand with homes published in NZ House and Garden, Your Home & Garden and House of the Year.
Specialising in new builds and large scale renovations I work with clients, builders and architects from concept to completion of your finished home. I offer expertise in creating a clear vision for your home, spatial planning, colour and finishes specifications through to furniture and furnishings.
My goal is to provide a personal, customised service. I partner with you so I that I can take the stress away from decision making and turn your dream home in a reality.
All Cornerstone Homes clients have a fifteen hour allocation with Vanessa and are able to upgrade to a full service package at any time.
